Flapjacks – eat at home or on the hill!

Ingredients

500 gm margarine

300 gm honey or golden syrup

100 gm sugar

1 tsp salt, 2 tsp cinnamon/ginger

700 gm oats

Dried fruit, nuts or other extras as preferred.

Melt together the margarine, honey or golden syrup, and sugar. Add the salt, spices and oats.

Stir in any of dried fruit, nuts etc.

Bake in a large lined, flat tin for 40 minutes @ 150 degrees fan oven.

Will cut into about 24 pieces.
