This is your chance to meet friendly Red Ropers from all corners of the UK and enjoy walks, delicious meals and different activities on the biggest trip of the year!
Dovedale House is situated in the picturesque village of Ilam, within the Peak National Park, providing access to a different part of Derbyshire to last year’s gathering. There are plenty of areas to walk, cycle or climb.
The house offers bunk-house style accommodation for up to 50 people in 12 bedrooms varying in size from 2-10 beds. There is also an ensuite room with disabled access on the ground floor.
There is a large car park at Dovedale House and there is also parking available next door at the National Trust (obviously only free for NT members). For more information about the location see:

The nearest stations are Buxton and Derby and there is a very intermittent bus service from both stations to Ashbourne. There appears to be no bus service to Ilam, so arrangements for collection from these stations need to be organised. Please indicate on the booking form whether you need a lift from any of these locations.
The trip charges are slightly higher than for standard trips, because of the special venue. To encourage new members to join a trip for the first time we offer them a discount of 33%.
