National list
We have discontinued our National Discussion list on the Yahoo! Groups service
We have a new discussion list for ‘Members-only’ on the Riseup service – all members (Spring 2020) have been added to this list, but you may unsubscribe if you wish.
New members will be added to this list shortly after you join the club. This is done manually, so please allow the administrator some time!
Members can use the list to share campaign news, opinions related to the club and the outdoors, information about national trips, general enquiries or tips. Discussions tend to come in occasional flurries!
All members of the list are expected to treat each other with tolerance and respect.
If you prefer to remove yourself from the list, it is very easy to unsubscribe.

What is a discussion list?
It’s a way of distributing email to a whole list of people. Once you have joined a list, any message someone sends to the list will also be forwarded to you; and if you write back, your email will be distributed to everyone else on the list.
Can I leave if I change my mind?
You can leave a list at any time. If you are going away for a period of time for work or holiday, you might like to leave the list, then join again when you return.
I tried to leave, but I’m still getting messages
Make sure that you ‘unsubscribe’ using the same email address that you subscribed with.
Can I say anything I like?
No, if you write a message to a list that we consider illegal or offensive, the list moderator may either send you a warning or ban you from the list. As a rule of thumb, please don’t send anything to a discussion list that you wouldn’t be prepared to see printed in the Bulletin.
Can I start my own list?
Yes! If you have enough people with email in a region or special interest group, why not start a list? All you need to do is go to the Yahoo Groups homepage and fill out their ‘start a group’ form.
